Nous venons de séjourner une dizaine de jours en cette belle île de Madère où la Casa do Papagaio Verde de Filomena nous a assuré une grande qualité de prestations dignes d'un 5 étoiles, tant en ce qui concerne l'accueil chaleureux et quasi familial des maîtres des lieux, de l'ensemble des services associés, de la discrétion et efficacité du personnel. Avons eu le privilège d'occuper le "upper suite" appartement qui permet à ravir de jouir d'une vue imprenable sur l'océan tout près. Casa Do Papagaio Verde : l'adresse à retenir. Obrigado, Obrigada.

I just wanted to say a big thank you to Filomena, Nyara and all the lovely staff at Casa Papagaio. In June we enjoyed a lovely relaxing holiday, and the hospitality, the suite, the views and the food were all wonderful. We are already looking forward to returning some day soon!

2012-05-11 After a lively e-mail conversation we were offered the upper suite apartment. It is very modern and comfortable. So new that there are no pictures on the wall yet. And a couple of brackets on the wall or the back of the doors should be nice, although there is plenty of storing room. It was very nice to stay there. Coming home after a tiring day the rooms are brought in order ( your night dress is draped on your bed in a very artistic way .And you can refresh yourself under a marvelous shower. .The location is fine when you rent a car. And when you don’t, there is enough public transport available on short distance. You can get even a taxi on call to bring you to town for just 7 or 8 euros. on the most. The gardens are well looked after by Felomena´s husband, until late in the evening! We thank Felomena and her staff for the pleasant stay .We can recommend it to anybody who prefers a quiet environment with a nice sea view.

Bonjour, Nous avons passé une semaine magnifique. Nous sommes un jeune couple avec un petit garçon de 14 mois. Nous avons apprécié le cadre magnifique et surtout le confort et les services de cette chambre d'hôte: au quotidien: - nettoyage de la chambre, - rangement de la vaisselle, - changement des serviettes réservation de notre voiture de location Filoména parle un français parfait et est adorable. We stayed here for one week from 21/10 till 28/10. We loved the quiet place even though it was near Funchal city. The staff and the lady from the house are excellent and really make you feel welcome. We loved the room ' Suite' , beautiful view and a nice clean balcony. The food the cook prepares is very tasteful, the veggies are from there own garden and the tomatoes are the best we had in years. We had a great time time here although when we arrived the heaven opened itself for the whole first day but after that it was great. Thank you for your care and we hope to visit you again.
