My husband and I live in Madeira in Calheta, we have three small Lhasa Apso Dogs. Your guest house sounds fantastic, would we be able to book for a week for the tgwo of us and our three pets. The two floor apartment looks nice. The dogs are well house trained and we can walk them on the nearby levada. We would also like to sample your delicious sounding food - why go anywhere else when you can have a holiday on the doorstep. The first or second week of May would be nice. Please respond at your convenience, if it is possible for us to come with our pets. They are well socialized. Best regards.

My husband and I stayed ad Casa do Papagaio last June. We travel a lot and already visited a lot of B&B's, but what we experienced in Casa do Papagaio was really the very best. Philomena and Nyara are such warm persons, they make you feel at home instantly. The view from the B&B is breathtaking, the food excellent and mostly from their own garden. As animal lovers we also very much enjoyed the presence of the animals on the property. We really would like to recommend this great place to anyone and look forward to booking our next stay at Casa do Papagaio soon. Thanks again Philomena and Nyara, you really are the best!

Dear Filomena, I am visiting Madeira with my family from 17-22nd December. I have already booked my accommodation, but now I have found your website, I would be very interested in staying in one of your apartments on a future visit. Would it be possible to arrange a visit while we are in Madeira?
Also, I want to arrange a surprise for my partner's 50th Birthday and the jeep rides sound very special. Would the ride be suitable for the whole family to go (5 and 7 year old children) ?

Thank you Filomena and Nyara for such a warm welcome. A beautiful setting with views overlooking the sea. Lovely clean and bright apartment. We were more than content with it, but thank you for our night in the on-suite, such a beautiful and special room and the view from the terrace is to die for and the sunset..... well, exactly as you said Nyara, you don't want to leave the terrace until the last rays have disappeared. Lovely food, and a real treat to have fresh lettuce, salads and fruit straight from the garden. A big thank you to your staff, who were always very friendly with us and mustn't forget the animals, especially the pointer/cross, she's beautiful.
Madeira is an amazing place, so diverse with its mixture of mountains rugged coastline. We loved walking and exploring the island.
A big thank you for helping to make our holiday a special one.
